When it comes to my writing I have to have clear organization of thought. A well defined purpose and outline helps me to keep track of what I have written and what I want to include in my writing. But sometimes even creating an outline can be tricky. In St. Martin's Guide to Writing there is section on how to create an outline that best suits writing about a cause (Pg. 445).
A strong thesis is the key to a great paper. As it says in St. Martin's Guide the very first thing to consider is the presentation of the subject. In other words, what is your paper about? I was taught that a thesis should be one concise sentence in your opening paragraph that tells the reader exactly what to expect to see in the paper.
To create a reasonable thesis it is necessary to do research (Pg. 440). Research can sometimes be hard but I always find fascinating facts about what I am researching. But also the more I research the better I can form my thesis. And the better I can shape my thesis, the better my paper will be.
Very good if I am writing some, all the information is mess a big mess in my head, just I m can writing that is it. but I am do what I can best
ReplyDeleteI agree. It can sometimes be hard to make sense of your thoughts.
DeleteThank you both for interacting! I agree researching (especially something you are interested in) helps totally organize your thoughts more clearly. Make sure you get caught up also blogging about your RD of essay #2. There wasn't one assigned for #3. Plus, I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the novel (1-4 so far) due Thursday!
ReplyDeleteForest, I hope you're ok. I thought you might find this to be interesting...
